Hi everyone, this is my first post…I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023 and have completed surgery, chemo and radio….
I had a CT scan this week and got results yesterday. It said ‘there was no convincing signs metastatic disease’. But the radiologist noted 'tiny’ spots in some bones that she thought were ‘bone islands’. Has anyone else had this? Thanks x
Hi there, I had a CT at diagnosis which identified some incidental findings including a bone Island on my pelvis as well as other age related back issues and other things. In my case they sent me for a bone scan but nothing further was needed.
Not sure that’s helpful but sometimes nice to just hear someone else was in the same boat. Xx
