Bone mets ER+, PR+ or HER

I have a question please! My primary cancer was ER+, PR+, and through a bone scan I was diagnosed with secondary cancer in my bones - extensive through trunk. However, would it definately be ER+, PR+ or could it have changed? I am questioning if I am on the right medication (I have a lack of confidence as my secondary diagnosis was missed on scans for 6 months!) I had read an article on here that the cancer can change from primary to secondary but I cannot find it now. Is anyone able to advise please or perhaps point me in the right direction to find the info. Thank you

Hi,
Yes it is possible for the ER/PR or HER2 status to change. Did they do another biopsy when they diagnosed your secondary BC in your bones? This would have informed them if they did; if not it might be worth you asking if another biopsy is possible?
