Hello Clare,

Just wanted to add my love, hugs & thoughts to everyone else’s & to say you are never alone while this forum is around.

Take care,
Dugsy x

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, theres really nothing much I can say apart from they are a great comfort.
Seeing mum and dad was lovely, thay have always been there for me and this is so hard for them.
I talked to the macmillan nurse to day, she says we will carry on with capecitabine, although my platelets are really down low. Steroids and a few other things to hopefully give me longer. She was talking a few months or so which will give me more time to sort things out as i have been putting things off. she just said how uncertain really these things can be but can but try. I am looking for any trials but i think i would prefer quality of life rather than quantity, so we shall have to see…Hopefully i will see christmas as i have bought all my presents early, for a change :o)

Clare
What awful news you have had and I can only add my thoughts and prayers to those that everyone else has said. A dreadful shock but I can see from your post just now that you are at least being able to continue with the chemo which I hope you tolerate well and it gives you much needed extra time. I truly wish that you will see Christmas and you can spend it with your loved ones.
Hugs

After reading about Clare i am feeling ashamed that i am worried about having an x-ray on my hip tomorrow. I have a lot of pain and not sure if it’s my left hip joint that needs replacing( right one was done in feb) or the bone mets again.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Clare and your family and hoping that there is some other treatment that might work. You will be strong and see Christmas and make lots of memories for your family.
Lots of love
