Wonder if any of you kind ladies can help me with this question.
I have had a bone scan today and they asked me part way through the scan whether i had a prothesis. I replied yes and they said i would have to remove it as they had see a shadow and redo that part of my body. I have had 2 scans done before but i am sure i have never removed my prothesis. Has anyone had this happen to them?

The only scans they let me keep my prostheses in for are MUGA scans. Bone scans and MRI I am asked to remove them.

Great that puts my mind at rest. That would explain why they had to do my chest area again.
