Boomerang situation!

Hi,
Haven’t posted in a while but have a return problem and want to pick everyones brains re a course of action.
I’ve found my old posts from October 2008 about Sacroiliac joint pain v mets. Happily, after scans, it was just pain and I had physio treatment. Now it’s back - for the last 4-6 weeks- and I’m not sure what to do. It’s worse than before in that it’s moved to my groin too.
My question is this: Do I just assume that it’s the return of same old problem or should I go to GP/phone Breast Nurse and go on the diagnosis trail again?

Would you genuinely be able to dismiss it as just the old problem or would you always have a niggle? Personally, I would still have that fear in the back of my mind so would HAVE to go and get reassurance, but we’re all different. I know The Waiting Room is a horrible place to be while waiting for results of investigations, but the relief when you’re told it’s just something normal (as in, not cancer) is worth the stress, compared to the constant low-grade worry if you don’t get it checked.

They won’t mind, and they will look forward to giving you good news. Speak to them, it’s their job.
