Bra help

hi

I am due my mastectomy on the 6th December. Here’s the thing, I am a larger lady with ridiculously tiny breasts, so to be honest, I very rarely bother with wearing a bra. In any case I have never found one that fits well. The band is usually OK but the cup is usually no where near filled even with the smallest cup sizes. So does anyone have any suggestions for a bra stockist suitable for women who are nearly flat as a pancake?!

I did suggest to the breast care team that they could remove both and give me an enlargement, but they didn’t seem to think that it was a good idea!

Hi CM

I’m a 34 AA ( in fact probably an AAA if that even exists!) …I have had a mastectomy left side and lumpectomy right side…I now wear crop tops with my prosthesis…it just doesn’t look right with a bra … and I find crop tops far more comfy

Hi there CM

I had a mastectomy exactly a week ago. I didn’t wear a bra for the first few days (I’m 34B or C) just a loose front buttoning shirt. I have a couple of the front fastening bras from Nicola Jane, the mastectomy specialist company. But the most comfortable have been a pack of 3 “Bralettes”  from M&S. They’re like crop tops, but have removable pads and adjustable straps, and were a very reasonable price. I bought medium. I’m now wearing them with the pad, no prosthesis, and think I really look ok, well from a distance anyway . Good luck with your surgery, not long to wait now…
