Has anyone here had the genetic testing via BRACA direct, saliva testing.
Its been 10 weeks and still waiting.
I have a strong family history abroad of BC and now i too have been diagnosed.
What was your experience, did they tell your trust first, or do they send it to you directly?
How long did it take your results to come back.
The result will help determine my surgery.

Ive had this done through a blood test. Thry took ages to come back, so my surgeon got onto them and I got the results a week or so afterwards.
Thats what I’d suggest you do if possible.

Hi, Mine took almost 3 months plus to get results.
You can call on the number provided and chase. The lady on the phone was lovely.
I got told of the result on fone ( when I called them) and then I received the letter next day. Copy of the result was sent to GP and Surgeon.
