Breast Cancer, Ovaries Removed and HRT - Help!

Hi,

My name is Helen, I am 57 years old and was diagnosed with stage 3 DCIS in 2016.  Had chemo followed by double mastectomy, radio and Herceptin for 18 months.   In 2022 a scan showed a dark shadow on one of my ovaries and so they decided to remove both.  Thank god no cancer was found but since then I have experienced menopause symptoms and am going mad!!  My GP is panicking as to what I can be prescribed due to the cancer, the chemo and now the lack of ovaries.  Has anyone else had this issue and if so can you point me in the right direction as to where to find help.

Ive had ovaries removed re suspected cancer too - it’s a major plummet in oestrogen - not easy to cope with - hopefully the nurses will have some suggestions .
