Hello, just wondered if someone could help me? I have found a firm oval shaped lump in my breast. I keep reading about breast mice and whether a lump is movable or not. I don’t really understand because the skin moves over mine and I can sort of move it but it feels like it’s in a tube? Really confused and worried. Thank you. X

Hello, yes I’ve seen the GP who didn’t say anything in particular but I have an appointment with the rapid assessment clinic on Monday. I’m just reading so much online and getting in such a state trying to work out if this lump is movable or not. ?

Hi Clare, any lump needs to be checked out but that isn’t to say it will be cancer , that is the least likely thing it will be but you can’t second guess so if you haven’t already then please make an appointment with your GP as soon as possible, 

Lumps come in all shapes and sizes but 80% of them are harmless, your going to feel anxious and worried and will continue to drive yourself a bit batty until you get it looked at so the sooner you do the sooner you will be sorted Xx Jo

Hi Claire,
As Helena says, best to step away from google as any search only leads to bc when mostly it’s not. It changes nothing & only feeds anxiety.
You have done what you need to do in getting it checked out.

Hi, I like you am in the same boat. I was worried about this very same question as they say online if it’s movable it’s likely to not be bc . Mine moves about an inch but then I don’t have very large boobs. I have an appointment on weds and am just the same of you !! Hope you get seen too and then hopefully put our minds at rest . Google just gives too much information and we are all different. Good luck

Google is not fun! I’ve been trying to keep away from it. Have you had biopsies yet? Xx
