breast pain

Hi
I haven’t posted for a while but do read now and again.
Brief history
Lump last feb, had lumpectomy, chemo and rads. Finished treatment on xmas eve.
Started back to work in Jan and was fine for a while and then started to get out of breath. Gradually at first then more so on doing anything. Got to the point one Sat i ended up at a&e . Was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism and kept in hospital for a week. Was signed off work again and returned a month later. I am now on warfarin which is a pain as it involves frequent blood test on damaged veins but i do seem to have stabalised the past 6 weeks.
I have since then been suffering chest pains, not to bad at first but recently intensifying. Also breathlessness that improved s gradually declining. My doc just says my lungs are damaged and it is ok, but why feel better to feel worse again.
This week also a letter arrived form my doctor saying one of my bloods as raised from my last onc visit. I have since found out it is a tumour marker.
Does anyone else have an experience like this.
I am worried m embolism was caused by cancer cells which does happen and am therfore getting a bit worried…
thank
jackie

Just a thought, but I met a lady when I was on chemo last year, she had suffered an embolism that was caused by Taxotere and they had to take her off it. Perhaps you should ask if any of the drugs could have had this side effect.
