Hi, I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in November 2017 (I was 42 at the time). Right breast. Treatment was surgery (in December 2017) and then 15 sessions of Radiotherapy plus 3 boosts given my young age (radiotherapy finished on 18 March 2018). For the past week I have been having pain/stinging/itching in my left breast as well as pain in my left armpit. No obvious rash or swelling. I have also noticed pain in my upper left back area and shoulder blade. I have an appt at the breast clinic tomorrow (Tues 13 June) related to lumpiness I had felt in my right breast (about 4-5 weeks’ ago). I will mention the symptoms in my left breast tomorrow but I am worried…

You could contact your breast care nurse to see if you could meet at the clinic to discuss how you’re feeling.
If you’re struggling emotionally, you could speak to your GP to see if they can refer you for some talking therapies to help you through this difficult time.
