Help - Can anyone give me some advice.
I had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal on 10.6.10.
Initially my wounds healed very well.
However in July the wound started to leak and two small holes sinus) formed on the scar which is still leaking a brown jellylike fluid.
The wound is now dressed twice a week by my surgery and my radiotherapy has had to be postponed for the second time until this heals.
I saw the Macmillan nurse yesterday and she squeezed the wound to extract more fluid and opened it up more which was very painful.
She said that this happens quite often but I cannot find any postings mentiong this.
Has anyone else experienced this please and how did they resolve it?
Regards and best wishes to all.
