Just thought I’d start a new thread in case any newcomers with secondaries are interested in meeting at Browns restaurant 38 Queens Road, Clifton, Bristol
BS8 1RE on Wednesday 8th July at from 11am for coffee,lunch,chat whatever! There are 3 of us so far but the more the merrier. We had lovely food here last time and nice surroundings.
I’ve booked a table for 6 but numbers can be adjusted if you can just let me know beforehand that would be great.

Just wanted to say again what a great time I had today at the meet-up - it was lovely to see you again Anne and Marmite - and lovely to meet you Ozzie. A really fun lunchtime - no-one else in the restaurant would ever have guessed the bond that unites us all!
Marmite, hope all goes well with the port etc, will be thinking of you.
Anne, have a fabulous holiday, relax and enjoy every minute.

I also had such a lovely,relaxing lunch with you all. It was great to see Lesley and Marmite again and so nice to meet you Ozzie and so glad you joined us. Had been feeling a bit low so it gave me a boost again to be with people who really “get” what we all go through.
Am off on hols now but hope we can arrange another Bristol meet in Sep when maybe more people may be around.

Sorry Celeste, we did have a good time on Wednesday even though you and Debs weren’t there!
Port went in Ok on Thursday, but took 2 hours and apparantly a lot of poking around. Surgeon thinks tumour was pressing on vein which made it awkward, so very swollen and back and blue, but hoping it will be Ok for bloods on tuesday and chemo on wednesday.

Glad you were able to meet up and we must try and do another meet it is really difficult when on treatment.

Sorry Debs, I know my input here has been sporadic at best, but finding it still really difficult to shake off this pneumonia - still exhausted. Still so many things to do in a day, which are not getting done at all.
Visited ikea to get the leaving home, setting up new home stuff for my daughters who are both off to uni in Sept, well that visit wiped out my purse and my energy for an awful long time.

hi all ,sorry i havnt been around much lately ,life just gets in the way sometimes and im having extra checkups at the hossy re right side lumpy bits ! would have loved to have been with you all but was really tired out what with one thing and another ,but im sure we shall all be able to meet up in sept again . hope everyone has a restful summer and those recieving treatments that it all goes well .hope to see you soon with good news from surgeon re right side mystery lumps !! xx
