Hello all I found a bruise on my left breast just over a wk ago, on further inspection I found a lump also, I went to the doctors and was told if the lump doesnt go in a wk or so then to go back as it was more than likely not a bang to the breast ( I dont recall hitting myself). Its been about a wk now and the lump is still there, My aunt died of breast cancer at 32 on my dads side and there is alot of ovary/ stomach cancer on both sides of my family I myself had lazer treatment on the cervix last year. Am I right to be worried??

Go back to you doctor if the lump is still there, and get refered to the breast clinic, its best to get it checked to be sure.
Its only natural to worry, but you need to find out what the lump is. Let us know how you get on.

I no exactly how you are feeling I have found a hard pea sized lump on left inner breast, I went straight to GP and told to come back in 3 weeks time, that was 1 week ago and now im worried as its still there, hope you get seen soon. Take care
