just had a mastectomy and am really bruised particularly at the side of the breast where they took the lymph nodes, is this normal and how long does the bruising last for
Hi Jobell. Sorry to hear you’ve had to have a mastectomy. I had a therapeutic mammoplasty with full axillary clearance and was badly bruised. It seemed to come in stages too over a few days. It probably lasted about a week but wasn’t that painful after the first couple of days. Hope you start to feel better soon xx
