Hi. Since my diagnosis, I’ve wanted to ‘do things.’ Things I’ve not done before. Challenges. Is anyone else doing the same? Are there any forums/suggestions for making opportunities happen? Things that others have done and recommendations for clubs willing to offer taster sessions? #seizetheday xx
Hi
I know what you mean. There definitely is a feeling of doing things today and not working towards the future. I’ve got a small bucket list and one of them is getting a tattoo! Haven’t been brave enough yet, but I will do. There are things that I’ve done this year, that I never thought I would. Definitely, seize the day!!

What have done Sue? Inspire me!! Xx
I’ve got back into horse riding Smudge. I rode as a child but between the ages of 15-50 I have probably ridden 6-10 hours a year - some years not at all. Since April I’ve progressed from once a week to 3 or 4, from a gentle walk/trot to galloping across stubble fields and jumping and a 15 mile ride last weekend!
I’m also determined to go skiing again whilst I can.
I’ve rekindled my artistic talents - not a challenge but I nice thing to do.
We’ve also welcomed two dogs into our family since my primary diagnosis. They are definitely a challenge!!!
Follow your heart and do what you’ve always dreamed of xx
Sounds fantastic Riversidedawn. I’m loving my challenges/new experiences. I’m always on the look out for new ones. Xx
Hi
I fulfilled one of my bucket lists last week. I took my husband to Las Vegas for his 50th birthday and whilst we were there went to see Matt Goss, oh and I got to meet him afterwards too (my bucket list not my husbands).
Oooh how fantastic Sarah24. I hope you continue to do more amazing trips. X
