can someone help me gain access to the ability to send and receive direct messages. I believe I am meant to have an envelope icon at the top of the page.

Hi I think they wait until you have posted a few times before they enable the private messaging facility to stop spam messages .If you e mail the mods they sort it out fir you tomorrow forum.breastcancernow.org/t5/Welcome-and-how-to-get-started/Private-groups-and-messaging/td-p/1273834
