Ive got an evening event to go to soon and the dress I had in mind is quite low and you can see my post surgery bra underneath it. I was thinking about getting one of those multiway bras and simply pinning my softie prosthetics into it. Will it look silly?
Pennies,
I cannot see why it should look silly. I bet you will be the only one who will notice. I used to wear my softie with normal bra but would not do it with the silicone prostheses.
Enjoy your night out.
Hi
I had a right mx in 2007. I have found I have to wear a post surgery bra, I have tried wearing normal bras but find my prosthesis kind of slips towards my ok breast and I am forever pulling down my bra. I wore a softie for a while but now find my silicone is a better match. The softie is definitely a lot comfier when it is very hot but I personally have to watch what t shirts I wear as the difference is noticeable. I have quite a heavy bust though, I am a 38c. If you feel comfy, go for it.
Enjoy your night out

Hi pennies,
I’m sure you can, try it, jump about a bit and if all still looks good, you are OK.
Have fun at your evening out
Maria.
Hi Pennies
Not sure if you’ll think this useful as I have had now had recon, but it has been a long process-still ongoing-and I have tried lots of bra solutions along the way! I generally wear a post mx bra and have done since my mx 18 months ago.
I had a special weekend away a while ago, before being very far along on the recon route- I was using a softie in one side and a partial silicone prosthesis in my ‘good’ side- I really wanted to wear a particular dress, and I found the Royce post-surgery multiway was brilliant-held both softie and silicone in place and felt really secure, came with clear straps as well, and didn’t show above the neckline.
Hope you find something that works and you have a great evening out.

Hi,
I’ve got a strapless bra from wonderbra which is amazing, it doesn’t have wires, instead these kinda hand shaped plastic things! I tend to pin my softie in it or just place my proper one in and it seems to stay. The cups are quite structured too. You could get some pockets you sew in yourself to put in it. Highly recommend the bra though.
