Cant stand all this waiting for results, I dont do waiting and this is doing my head in, even told the hubby to go last night and find someone who wasnt going put him through all this xxx
Hi lowfatlovatt,
The waiting bit is definitely the hardest part for all of us. I’m sure your hubby will understand how hard things are for you right now and he will be supportive. There isn’t much I can say to make the waiting easier… But I would suggest that you throw yourself into any hobbies you have, or books you want to read… that sort of thing.
I don’t have any real hobbies, so I killed time by doing things that would keep my mind completely occupied, such as puzzles, brain-training games etc. That may sound silly, but it was my way of coping.
If you aren’t sleeping, or suffering from anxiety or panic, perhaps it’s worth talking to your GP? Or talk to someone you can confide in?
I really wish there was something I could say to make the waiting go more quickly! It’s a horrible game that we must all put up with, and truly the worst part. Whatever the outcome, once you know, it definitely gets easier.
Best of luck, and try something you enjoy to divert yourself whenever you can.

Hi
I agree with mel. The waiting really is the worst thing. Keeping occupied, kids, tidying, etc. Even if it occupies your mind for 5 mins, its 5 mins that you aren’t thinking about it. I cleaned out my kitchen cupboards 3 times in a week when I was waiting for some results.
We do tend to take our frustrations out on those closest to us, I’m sure your husband is understanding. stay strong, you can do this xxx
Hi lowfatlovatt, fingers crossed for good pathology results today XXX
