Capecitabine 2nd time around

Anyone else gone back on capecitabine after a break of a year or more?

 

I was on this treatment for 2 years, it worked well for my liver and bone mets, but I asked to stop because of side effects (hand/foot syndrome).  Since then I’ve had other treatments but recent scan/blood results showed I needed to change again.  Hoping the “peachy pills” will work again for me…

Good Luck with Capecitabine mrsblue, I remember marilf used to often have treatment breaks during her 8 years of the chemo. As it was still working when you discontinued it the first time I would think there’s a very good chance it will work again. Good luck, I found Eucerin cream the most effective during my years with Cap. X
