Carcinogens

HI
I am researching a lot about carcinogens in all meat and dairy products - there are strong links between these products and cancers…doesn’t really natter if they are organic or not …especially dairy…following a plant based diet can help…I can’t see any advice about food and diet on this website…, is there any?

Hi there. There is quite a bit on diet if you search. I think the problem is so much of it contradicts each other. Eating less meat sounds like a good idea all round but dairy is much more mixed. Some research suggests it is protective against breast cancer! I have tied myself up in knots so following the everything in moderation idea. I barely ate red meat before and I still got cancer… I would recommend looking up the Dr Liz O’Riordan podcasts on this issue as they promote healthy eating without the scaremongering of some less helpful resources. Good luck with it all xxx

Hi @ems1

The places I got my information from also had some contradictions as to what should and shouldn’t be consumed. What I did learn was that some bodies require meat to work properly.

Some good sources of information are:
Breaking the cancer code by Dr Rubio. This book I got from Amazon and is the best money I have spent, it goes into the science of all sorts of things and you can work out what is right for you.
Also a good source of information and recipes is Chris Wark. Square a one program.
And Melissa Merchant - Live your best life after cancer

Have you read about avoiding petrochemicals in toiletries, makeup and household products. If not there is a blog on here and on the other cancer websites. Gloop can give you a list to look out for and avoid. I will say though that most normal stuff has something in. EDTA is in soo much and stands out like a sore thumb on the label.
So good places to shop can be Beauty Kitchen, Green People and certain products in Holland and Barrett. Aquapura is fab it’s in Boyes. Yeahhhhh

Good luck with your research xxx
