Hi, I have my last chemo tomorrow (wed 9th) and nothing’s been said about what to do should anything happen in the 2 weeks after - I’m thinking high temp, infection that kind of thing. Given that there’s no more chemo to be delayed or anything, do I ring someone somewhere or just ride it out with painkillers etc? I’ve only had to ring twice throughout my treatment but you can bet if there’s no one to ring I’ll need too!!
i’m def going onto radiotherapy and possibly lymph node clearance too.
Thanks x
Hi Ruthie2,
so i’m guessing that by now you have had your final chemo session… i hope you rang that bell…i should did 7 weeks ago …
i was told by my bc nurses and chemo nurses to ring them if i had a problem i needed some advice on.
i didnt need to call. I did keep clear of lots of people for the 2 weeks following my last session. I should have visited my daughter n kids but they all had colds, so i didnt go.
just be sensible…
Radiotherapy is easier than chemo so you’ve already done the hard bit.
good luck and stay strong. Mini mad xx ??
