I’ll be starting chemo next month, and at the age of 70 I’m quite concerned. I have Atrial Fibrillation, which was only found at pre op for the lumpectomy(Feb 2022) I know that my treatment will take this into account but, concerned how I will cope generally at my age. Anyone on here at a similar age going through the same? I’m quite fit & active for my age and no other health problems.

Granny all Sorry you find yourself here Please trust in your team, they’ve seen it all before and will monitor you throughout closely and your treatments are tailored specifically for you One step at a time and day by day you will get through. Do use your ray response number if anything doesn’t feel quite right Don’t ignore anything you team will be happy you are being vigilant and helping them
