Hello ladies, well am sorry about my absence…!
Had my blood test and saw the nice ‘oncle’ who confirmed my healthy trend continues…feel very blessed.
of course week 3 is still lingering until Im infused tomorrow…and ive been in a bad mood for.a Lot of the day.
that is something you can all look forward to…sorry, but most spongebobs report being techy/ depressed/irritable in week 3!
Perhaps I should try changing my name to Withaverylargesmile’ …maybe not tho!
glad Kay, and apparently Abney are both well and settled down for the nightxx

Hiya Kay .
I first joined the site in 2004 with my primary and very quickly made a buddy called sue who was having her treatment in Spain and very scared …our treatment plan was a mirror image and we e mailed every day …I even visited her in Spain a couple of times …sadly she had a reaccurence in her lung and died six years after her primary …my best friend also had a reaccurence after six years and I visited her daily to the end .
I’m very grateful to this site that I met sue through it and we could exchange fears and thoughts that we couldn’t say to our families.
Hopefully the ladies in your village can also support each other through it but we must be grateful we are still here after a long time compared to many that haven’t .

you may find that any side effects go away, or change, this drug is unusual like that.
however, mention the numbness to your onc next time if it continues…I have had numb feet since taxotere(docetaxol) and the other day, felt i was walking on cotton wooll…the onc has asked me to keep a log of thisxx

Firstly I’m gatecrashing moijans very helpful and funny thread as I’m only a letrozole lady and haven’t a clue what you are going through really but snap …Kay we are the same sort of age …and I looked at old photos of myself and realised I’m looking like a old grey bag lady these days .keep.my hair shorter and uncoloured as the leyrozole has thinned my hair and made my scalp so itchy.
No I don’t go to the Marsden as I live in Devon and moijan lives miles away but both times we have met …she has travelled a long way for the meet up.
I always used to say I’m as much help as a chocolate teapot …that’s now got boring so it’s now that I’m as much help as a fireman with a wooden leg !!!

Wow …whatever you are drinking …I’ll have a pint of it !! You sound very happy and I’m pleased the chemo is doing what it says on the tin for you .
It’s been a long time since knickers have been discussed on any threads lately …so I will add that I’m getting my special hospital ones dusted off ready for my ct scan soon. Yes we all have them …they are usually black and quite thick and large to protect our modesty for the hospital gowns …they do make good car cleaning dusters when not in use too.

Well, for my MRI scans now I wear jeggings and a t shirt, ( when I remember to wear something zipless!
It’s very chilly in the scanner and I always accept the offered blanket… I suppose one could lie in there and ‘swear’…
