Hi girls, I was diagnosed with BC in Dec 09 and had mastectomy followed by chemo and rads, then got told in Jan it had spread to my bones, and now yesterday got told it is in my liver! How much of me do you want I scream??? Anyway, ahem - just wondering if anyone is on chemo for the liver prob and which one are you taking? I am tempted to go for the tablets as a few seem to be on this option. Any advice gratefully received. Joanne

I initially had FEC and that helped control the liver mets along with lymph glands etc. Mets then grew as Armidex hormone treatment was unsuccessful and I tried Docetaxel but that did not hold the tumours so I’m now on Capecitimine tablet chemo and this does seem to be making the discomfort in the liver area go (middle now seems more hollow) so am hopeful that today’s scan shows improvement when I get the results.
