Two years ago I had lumpectomy and rads for hormone + IDC.
This year I was diagnosed with TNBC and have had DMX.
I saw the oncologist who said I didn’t need chemo as the tumour was so small (they think it was all removed at the biopsies, as they could only find DCIS after the op).
But everything I’ve read says you should have chemo for TNBC.
I was also diagnosed this year with TNBC, and it was also caught really small - and no chemo for me, either.
Obviously there are a lot more issues feeding into individual decisions, but in my experience they are always massively keen on (over) doing the ‘just in case’ stuff, so when they say no to something like that I take it as a good sign!
