Chemo smell in urine??

Hi all, I hope you’re doing as well as can be. 

I’m on my last chemo cycle () and a couple of times I’ve mentioned to the doctors, that throughout chemo my urine has smelt really bad, like a chemical smell I guess. The doctors have looked at me as if my brain is addled but I swear it smells so unpleasant!!

I’ve Googled it and it does seem like it can do but has anyone else experienced it and if you’re post chemo, when did it stop? Please tell me I’m not losing the plot!!

Welcome to the forum , Im sure you are not the only one to experience this , hopefully someone who has will be along soon to reassure you are not losing your marbles !

Hi, I only started my chemo last week (Paclitaxol), & I’ve definitely noticed a ‘toxic’ smell to my urine, which started the following day. I’ve got another 11 cycles to go (at least), so I guess my nose has got to get used to this!
