Hi Everyone
I was diagnosed on 14th October (my birthday, lovely) and have since undergone a wide local excision and sentinel node biopsy, 2 of the 3 nodes tested positive so i then had a total node removal last Friday, results on Thursday. I have seen the oncologist and start Chemo on 13th January but they also want me to go on a trial of a drug called Caitlin. Has anyone else been on it? It is currently used for more invasive cancer than mine successfully so they now want to try it on the next stage down. Seems like I’ve nothing to lose really but wondered if any of you had any experience with it. It will work along side Herceptin.
Any thought would be appreciated.
