Sorry things did not go brilliantly and you’ve already lost your hair. It should start growing back when chemo finished. It’s good that your team are adjusting the dose for you.
Come and join us on the February starters. We are all supporting each other and you might find someone on the same treatment.
I had my first cycle of TC chemo on 5 February. I too felt very afraid and have no idea what to expect in the three weekly cycles. Three days after the first dose I feel totally wiped out
I’m on the same chemo as you started yesterday, 2nd cycle due 16th February
I’m OK still buzzing on the steroids, injections start tomorrow for 7 days. Had a skin reaction to the steroids and acid reflux, antihistamine stopped the itch and I’ve got zero base cream to apply after showering, omoprazole and pektac ended the reflux, drinking loads and loads of water, taking latulos to help with bowl movement and rinsing my mouth with salt water, a lot I know but ok so far hope this helps and you are OK too.
