Hi everyone, I wanted to share a children’s book I created called Love You, Babyhead. It was written to gently help explain cancer and chemotherapy to young children (ages 2-6) in a way that feels safe, loving, and not overwhelming. The book was inspired by my own experience—when I lost my hair during treatment for triple-negative breast cancer, my 3-year-old lovingly started calling me “babyhead.” That moment stayed with me and became the heart behind this story.I know how hard this journey can be, especially when trying to help little ones understand what’s happening. My hope is that this book can offer comfort, reassurance, and a way to open those difficult conversations.
