I am taking Femara which has raised my cholesterol to 6.5. My GP wants to put me on statins but as there has been adverse press regarding these pills re cancer link, I am not sure what to do. Does anyone else have this problem with Femara. Apparently 20% of people taking this drug have a raised cholesterol level and all the other minor side effects I seem to have as well.
