Not really sure on the point of this post, I guess just to voice things.
I have my appointment with the breast clinic tomorrow following an appointment with the GP on 13th. My wait was initially over 6 weeks but I have managed to thankfully get an earlier appointment.
I’m preparing myself for them saying it is cancer. I will be surprised if it isn’t with my symptoms.
I found a lump around 8 weeks ago, initially it was really small, what I would describe as a small stone. I waited until I had my period as between ovulation and my period my boobs are quite lumpy. It did feel harder than the other lumps but wanted to see if it settled. Following that it was still there but I just kept putting it off. Roll on my next period and my boob swelled a lot, much bigger in size to my other boob. It was very visibly clear and much firmer. I went to the GP who referred me.
The ‘stone’ feeling lump is still there with another right next to it but they feel like they are just lumpy parts on a much bigger lump that feels around 1.5 inches. I also have another area that is raised/harder but it feels more like a line than a lump.
I addition my boob feels swollen/firmer. I’m not sure if this is thickening. It is itchy on and off but some days I could rive it off. I have also had some burning feeling in my breast. It also feels achy and heavy.
Sorry for the long rambling post, I know I can’t know for definite until they do tests but it in my mind I’m convinced that it is something
Hello, its nice to meet you Sorry you find yourself in this stressful situation but well done for getting yourself an appointment. Unfortunately even at your appointment they are unlikely to diagnose anything and be prepared they might have to do a biopsy to double check things. They might also give you an ultrasound and a mammogram. Again don’t panic, they have to build up a good map of whats going on especially with hormonal boobs. 1 test is never usually enough because of the dense tissue.
Don’t lose hope or write yourself off straight away. Many women have the same side effects and will go away with something non cancerous. You have very hormonal boobs so it could be so many other things. If you have been poking and proding for a while that would definitely cause more irritation, add to that the worry and anxiety and you’ll feel every twinge imaginable.
Wishing you all the best today. If possible take someone with you just for a bit of support although the breast care nurses you see will be very supportive. Big hugs

Sending you very good wishes and support for your appointment .
It is scary when we have symptoms and then our minds start trying to prepare us for for what it could be by getting us into ‘Commence with battle ‘ mode.
The breast care clinic ( from.my own experience) make a stressful appointment managable and they are very kind .
You wont know straight straight away exactly what the issue is as the other ladies have said .
So while waiting be very kind to yourself and self sooth activities will support you , Walks, fave music, aromatherapy whatever helps you, is right for you
