hi there
i too have secondaries but in the bones and lining of my tummy, but i did once develope a clot on the lungs. they drained some fluid off and treated me with walfrin, but i was on chemo at the time and i shouldnt have had walfrun while i was on it, so i advised them and was given something else that they injected into tum, i hope it gets sorted soon.

Hi Max, I had a clot to my lung in 2003. My hip had fractured, I then got the breast cancer and bone mets diagnosis and whilst waiting, unable to move, in hospital for my hip replacement I developed the clot. I had no symptoms but it was picked up in my lung as I was having CT scans to see if I had cancer elsewhere. I then had 6 months of Warfarin and was taking Tamoxifen at the same time.
I have read of the hickline connection too.
Just another thing you don’t need on top of everything else. :frowning:
PM anytime but hope all is sorted soon…Belinda…x

Thanks Belinda & Everydaymatters reassuring to know i am not alone in this. Yes Warfarin has been mentioned currently on daily injections Fragma ( I think thats the name ) to thin the blood. Yes just awaiting another CT scan to determine if this is the cause also was sent home from hospital with a nebuliser feeling slightly better the breathlessness is certainly no where near as bad as it was but still by no means normal !

thanks again Max x x
