Just seen all the 'wear it pink day adverts on Facebook. That is Actually the date I was diagnosed last year 19th October! Can’t believe thus year has passed so quickly!! Nearly time for my 1st mammo then! Gulp!! ??
Alibobs i second thst re TN and as Shi says its treatable just hsrsh treatment unfortunately but we are on the other side of it now which proves that research has given TN ladies a much better outcome these days ??? glad you told your friend about the bccf she will find there is a few of us knocking about i hope she does where lots of the lovely ladies on here will give her a virtual hug, hope you are feeling better after your meeting it does shake you up when you find out someone you have known a long time has a bc diagnosis xx

Hi ladies hope you are all well! What beautiful weather we are having again! Looks set to stay this way for quite a while too. My girlfriends and I have been discussing possible bonfire night bbq with bangers on the grill!! Lol!! And hot tub Christmas parties in my best friend’s garden. Sounds like a plan!! I’m back to work next Tuesday but only on phased return so should still be able to get out after in the sun!! Will need to!!! ???
So my booby friends I am back in the world of work from tomorrow!! Albeit phased return. I may not have as much time to spend with you all on here. I will keep an eye on things though and hope you all continue to thrive and live lovely lives. I just want to say thank you to each and everyone if you on this forum for being there when I need a shoulder, a laugh or just a rant!! You have helped me along this awful journey so very much.???

Alibobs ? you enjoy being back at work im so jealous of all of you atm im not, was made redundant but also found out i have to stay off atm as i need an op on my neck( c spine) so for now im enjoying spending time with Grandaughter while her mammy is at work, and enjoying my garden although i can’t do anything in it so i still lurk frequently
Have to admit I agree with you all this forum and all you lovely ladies on it is amazing long may it continue for those ladies in the future who may need its support the club noone wanted to join mind you club tropicana is full of good vibes isn’t it Jay hiya hows you?!! Nice to hear from you the May 2017 group were my first people to reassure me when i was first diagnosed its lovely that we all can be there for someone else when they need that virtual hug isnt it i decided once i get past my 2 years clear (fingers crossed) i want to volunteer at maggies just one day a week (you have to be 2 years clear to volunteer) when i get back to work im only going to go part time because of my spine condition so with a spare day i want to give something back its a truly wonderful charity just like BCCare and they need support whether its through fundraising or helping out
My mam has been making loads of Christmas cards gift boxed and a few memory boxes for the xmas fete at local Cancer Centre
Its a year tomorrow i list my dad ?so i have been Feeling a little teary eyed at times these last couple of days so much has happened in that year and since i wonder what he would be thinking of me being NED and a Granma to his first great granchild Ella who is my absolute world ???

Shi i saw a leopard print coat today and thought of you i hope you got them trainers too im in desperate need of some retail therapy as i feel a new autumn wardrobe is what i need i have lost weight through my healthier lifestyle so its a good enough excuse for a revamp ?
