Cod Liver Oil for Joint problems?

Hi

I was wondering about the use of old fashioned Cod Liver Oil capsules to try and help with the joint problems associated with Femara.

Has anyone one out there tried this route and has anyone consulted their oncologist about the advisability of this route.

I would appreciate reply because I am struggling with aching joints. I have been told its OK to use Glucosmine but wondered about going back to basics

Yes Andie I take these. Oncologist didn’t say there was anything wrong in doing so and that it should help with stiff joints. I’m on tamoxifen though and not femara.

I also take Cod Liver oil and after 2 months on am feeling slight benefit. My oncologist said it was ok to do so.

Hi: I’ve been on Arimidex since Jan and have aching fingers. When I started on it I asked my onc about Gluco-whatsit and his veiw was “if you like”. I’ve also done the cod liver oil but it gives me indigestion. I’m now doing calcium and Vit D for my bones but it takes so long to get any effects.

Keep going girls!
