Do bovine collagen peptides affect breast cancer?
Hello there @rainee393
I’ve heard conflicting reports about this . The Nurses have directed me to this website / page which i have found useful for supplements in general in the past.
I had already started taking it when I found out that there’s quite a bit of controversy about it. I asked my treatment team who said it was ok but there’s a lot of stuff on You Tube and some research papers that say it’s not . I’m thinking of switching to a vegan one instead .

Good to know however this looks like it might be an advert to me because it’s a reply to such an old post - seems a bit random so I have flagged it as spam as there has been a lot of that on here recently. Apologies if this was a genuine reply .
I’ve always been cautious about supplements when there’s even a small chance they could impact something as serious as breast cancer. My oncologist once told me to run everything by her, even the “harmless” stuff like collagen or protein powders. Honestly, trying to read up on all the scientific studies gave me a headache because results and opinions really seem to vary. If you ever feel overwhelmed or unsure which supplements make sense for your own situation, I found it helpful to take a more tailored approach.
Recently, I started using Menalam to help guide me on which supplements are actually backed by science for my particular goals and health risks. It uses your personal info and keeps updating as your health changes, which saves having to guess what’s safe or necessary.
