Compression garments

Hi all, I’m 3 weeks away from escaping my compression garments! I wondered if anyone knows if there are charities that would find these useful.

I bought the macron bras and the girdles were another expensive brand. They have been absolutely brilliant and if someone else could use them to help their journey I’d love to donate them as I know not everyone can afford the cost of these products.

Any pointers on where I may be able to donate would be great.

Xx

I’m having symmetry surgery next year so will hold back one of the bras but have multiples and a couple of sizes. Just a shame for them to go to waste.

Hello, I am 2 weeks post DIEP flap surgery and wondered where you got the stomach binder from? My consultant said the NHS used to provide them but do not any more. I got my post surgery bra, which is great, from Macom but I worry their binders will ride up and touch my new breast. I am short waisted and thought they might be too long.

I hope your recovery continues to go well. It is great you can stop with the compression garments.

Best wishes,
Nicky

I got a straightforward binder as well from the hospital. Found that really useful and doesn’t ride up. You can have it as tight or as loose as you need. I only used that twice so happy to send to you if you think you can use. Just need someone to help you get it nice and tight. It’s a Velcro hobby and actually quite easy then to just put your pants on top.

I got the lipoelastic girdle knickers. I’m usually a 16 so I got a large. They are really good but a bit of money.

Pm me if you want the binder. Can get it sent on Monday x
