Concern over lymph nodes

Hi,

I’ve always had lumpy breasts and cyclical pain, more so in the right breast which causes occasional twinges and back/arm/rib pain. In December I found a lump in the right breast which had disappeared by the time I had an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed nodules and typical lumpy breasts, but no cause for concern.

I have severe health anxiety and experienced cyclical breast pain which led me to call the GP last week who reassured me of the normal findings of the ultrasound.

I have since become obsessed with other symptoms focused on the lymph nodes. I have an area of fatty tissue/skin between the breast and armpit, which I have poked, prodded and pinched to feel for any swelling.

Following a severe panic attack I attended a&e where they did a full check of breasts, neck, collarbone/chest, armpits and the areas surrounding that etc. Everything was fine. They also checked my ears (they’ve felt slightly blocked and there’s occasionally a lump in my throat  when I swallow) and they were clear too.

My worry is that there is an issue with the lymph nodes which can’t be felt on a physical exam which has been causing the blocked ear/lump in throat, and that there is a hidden lump in my breast which can’t be felt on a physical exam either. You hear about so many Pepe being diagnosed in so many different ways that I worry this is how I will be diagnosed.
