Last week I had a Wide Local Excision and Sentinal node biopsy. I went back to the clinic the other day for the results. I was told that I have a very aggressive cancer which is HER2 positive and a large amount of the tissue surrounding my 1inch lump was pre cancerus and out of the 6 lymph glands they removed cancer was present in 3 of them. I now have to wait 2 weeks to have further surgery to removle the remaining lymph nodes and I will need bone and full body scans. I am worried now that it could have spread further…
