Hi I’m 25 and had experienced some nipple discharge from 1 breast about 2 weeks ago, it was dried by the time I’d noticed and I was left with a crust/ dry spot which I couldn’t remove. I went to the GP who found a lump measuring 1cm x 8mm, referred me on urgent pathway and I was seen a week later. I initially couldn’t feel the lump but then was convinced I could feel an area that felt different. Went to appt which I expected to be quite a long process however I was seen and out within 20 minutes. The dr examined me lying down and felt no lump (GP examined me sitting up). I had an ultrasound but I’m pretty sure it was just of the ducts as the nurse said they couldn’t see anything in the ducts and I can go home, I feel they didn’t ultrasound the area of the lump that was initially felt. I have been offered a follow up appt but I think over the phone, to discuss if I was still getting the discharge. I obviously feel relieved that they didn’t find anything but I’m not 100% reassured as I did feel the appointment felt rushed and I’m worried that they didn’t ultrasound the whole breast. Any advice?

Hey @sween45
If I was in any doubt I would contact them again (or your GP if you’re unable to contact the breast clinic) and explain that you didn’t feel reassured that the area in question was scanned exactly as you have here.
Hope this helps and do let us know how you get on if you decide to contact them again and want to share. x
