Hello all!! I am 32 years old, with a very strong family history of breast cancer. My mom was diagnosed at 36; my half sister at 33 years old. I recently noticed changes. I went to the doctors and had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. They found a solid nudule; with architectural distortion. Last Friday the 13th i had a core biopsy done (not image guided) and anxiously was awaiting the results. Today i heard from the breast specialist who said the results were “non-diagnostic”. So my question is; what is the next step? I keep having shock like pains that radiate; and my shoulder (scapulae) area keeps throbbing like a sprained muscle. Should i keep pushing this further? I want answers and am so confused.
Can you have an appointment with specialist to discuss your worries /get more expalanation .May be worth posting your questions in the ask the nurses section and they will get back to you tomorrow.Hope all turns out ok .Jill.
