I was diagnosed with high grade DCIS last April, 2 WLE and 15 days of radiotherapy, no other treatment or drugs. Since my radiotherapy I have been ill an awful lot, Very bad colds, stomach ulcer, shoulder pain. I know none of these things are directly related to DCIS but I was never ill before and wonder even after all this time (radiotherapy in September) could my immune system be low, or am I just having a run of bad luck and its pure co-incidence?

Suggest you visit your GP, make them aware and see if they can carry out some blood tests. I found I had become extremely anaemic after radio…
Re the shoulder - did you carry yourself differently after the op and/or radio? If so possible your shoulder may be compensating…GP may be able to suggest painkillers or if nerve pain or if physio may help.
