Hi ladies,
I had mastectomy and reconstruction in October 2005. I had a mammogram showing e white dot which i need a core biopsy for. I am so scared and i wondered if the radioligist will be able to give me some idea when she does the ultrasound. Has anyone been given any ideas.

I’ve now had three biopsies, nothing to be scared about. The radiologist might have an opinion but, without the results from pathology it would be unfair to ask her. All she will know is where the lump is and size. The biopsy will be taken from the middle of the lump so they are assured of getting the important bit of tissue. The pathology results shouldn’t take very long.
