So the 2 week wait is finally over and we are going the hospital tomorow. So long story short my mum developed a lump in her breast went the gp got refered to breast clinic they done examination mammogram ultra sound and took bloods they advised that the lump she was feeling probably was a breast cancer and also in her other breast they have found 2 other lumps and clusters of calcium . My has lost a bit of weight and currently weighs just touching 6 stone she’s 72 years old . The doctor was unsure if her lump nodes were swollen or it was through lack of weight she could feel them. We’ve also been for a ct scan and been back to the gp we’re they have done a stool sample a back passage examination and now she has been refered to Iva and also ttg coeliac serology I’m guessing this is due to her blood tests shown low iron but nothing else of concern . Does this sound like a good sign I’m absolutely dreading taking her for the results tomorow as both the breast doctor and her own gp have both suggested they think she has cancer
