I’ve almost finished treatment and have just found a new lump on my collarbone, the same side that I have Lymph nodes removed. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it just be a build up? It does move when I feel it
I am seeing consultant next week but I can’t stop worrying. Just wondering if anyone had same and turned out to be fine

Your Consultant will be able to get to the bottom of this next week - unfortunately there’s no way to say for sure what it is but people do develop lumps in and around the area that they have had treated . I found a lump in my breast 3 months after finishing radiotherapy which I naturally panicked about and turned out to be a harmless oil cyst / fat necrosis which is a complication of treatment . Hang in there - I don’t know what day you are seeing your Consultant but maybe you could contact your BCN beforehand and give them a heads up as then they might be able to organize a scan or something for you - I saw my BCN in the morning who examined me and said she didn’t think it was anything to worry about but to be on the safe side they then did an ultrasound scan which confirmed that it was an oil cyst .xx
