CT info

Hello, had a CT scan. Within 48hrs have had a call back but my consultant is on holiday and I have 2 1/2 week wait. It’s got me thinking (something or nothing) that’s a long wait. Confused a little.

I waited about thd same length of time. Then further waits betwen next appointments because bank holidays kept getting in the way (easter, May etc) but all was ok. I think that might be a pretty standard wait. All best wshes.

I think so too, making you wait that much time (2 1/2 wks) when the results were in within 48hrs can be a bit frustrating. A phone call will do me. I’mma gonna grab a holiday and forget about it. Thank-you for your reply. :+1:

Hi SBT

Thanks for posting. It can be frustrating waiting for results of investigations. As @soos says this length of wait is common, particularly when staff are on holiday.

It’s not clear from your post why you have had this scan, and at which point you are in your treatment. Perhaps it would be helpful to contact your breast care nurse.
