I have has 3 taxotere now and have to get a CT scan on the 24th. As I have a lump on my chest and a pea sized node on my nect I can feel these. I am no getting paranoid that the treatment isn’t working etc. I just expected the little node on my nect to be away after 3. Has anybody been in a similair situation that can reassure me perhaps that it takes more than that.
To be honest I do think the chest one has went down and that the node one is softer and moving about it bit more.
I’m just paranoid and terrified of the results. I’m sure you have all been here.

Oh yes, I know how it feels. Even if you couldn’t feel your lump and node, you would be fretting about the results. There’s nothing worse than the waiting…
I’m waiting for results on Monday to see if a new treatment’s working (Tamoxifen and Herceptin, following taxol last year).
Sorry I can’t comment on them as I haven’t had feel-able bumps. I just wanted to say I hope you get on okay and get good results.

I have had the lumps in my neck - that was partly how I was first diagnosed it was removed for them to do histology on. I then went on to have fec and I am now on Arimidex and Zoladex. The lump came up again last year and I still have it, but I was told that this is a good thing as it is a marker and shows how things are going. I am feeling OK I have been booked in for another scan just to check what is going on inside.
Try not to worry I know it is hard because you worry about the lumps you can’t see
