I have done one CT scan August which was clear and I have done one last Tuesday, 10/12. Nursery last week told
me that if everything was ok they would send me straight to start chemotherapy.
Today I got a call that I have a meeting with the oncologist to get the results from the CT scan and also breast MRI that I did on 11/12.
I asked the nurse about the results and she said she would not know as the results are only given by the radiologist on the MDT meeting.
I am thinking that my cancer might have spread and she can’t say.
Is there the possibility that she really doesn’t know the results as she said?
i know it’s difficult not to worry when you are waiting for your results (I am due some
today and freaking out) but it is highly possible that the nurse did not know about your results and even if she knew she should not really tell you over the phone. They need to discuss the results in their meeting to agree the best course of action and then discuss with you. I hope you get the results you hope for.

I recently had a bone scan and was also told that the result would not be known by the breast care nurse until the radiologist report at the MDT meeting but she did ring me after the meeting at 6 30 pm with the result
