Just a quick question. When you have a CT scan do they take images of the brain?

Hi…from my experiences, no only ever had CTs from neck/chest down…I don’t think most hospitals usually include the head unless they have any concerns. Take Care…xx

my CT scans have only been chest and abdomen. As Belinda says, I expect they would arrange another scan if there were concerns about the brain.

No - I’m different! Have always had my brain scanned at the same time as chest and abdomen. Now I’m wondering why…

I’m a bit worried now as I have been having dizzy spells & seeing strange ‘flashing lights’. I will have to mention this to my onc on Thurs.
