Had great news today - surgery was successful good margins … No more surgery and no radiotherapy However high grade DCIS and hormone receptive so have to stop HRT … What’s the best way to come off HRT? Any advice/experiences?
Hi, I was diagnosed with dcis with some invasive disease last week and advised to stop my hrt (been on it approx 4 years). I just stopped outright and now starting to feel the effects, grrrr, but hey ho.
Helly18 sorry to hear that but as you say hey ho … My GP advised taking two or three months to wean myself off so taking every other day atm … Will be interesting to see how long it takes before my body reacts … She also said if hot flushes/anxiety gets too much we can look to other things to help …
